To step by step, fill the knowledge gap in the African music industry by ensuring that such knowledge gained is localized, which will then help to provide a platform for continuous learning and skill acquisition, which will further help to create employment and wealth for every practitioner.

PurpleBlue Academy Internship Programme

One easy and great way to break into the competitive business of music is through internship. To help develop our students’ career skills especially for those who may be interested in working in the music industry and jumpstart their postgraduation adventure, opportunities will be extended to them, to intern at some of our partner organisations, which will help them acquire some hands-on experience dealing with several music business tasks.

Beyond hands-on learning and because of the competitive nature of the music industry, the programme will also help our students establish some important music industry connections.

There would be a final project that is presented at the end of the internship by the students, to show that they understood the concepts taught.

A survey would be sent out at the end of the course to establish areas the students are interested in specializing, so that the Academy can liaise with any of the partner organisations that focuses on that part of the music business.

PAIP will prepare our students for an exciting future in the music industry and music related enterprises.

The goal is to immediately expose our students to real life situations especially those who are new to the music industry and its businesses, and making them employable and valuable at any organisation that their services may be needed.

Signup for our courses and stand a chance to get an internship opportunity at the end of your training

The awareness of African music as a foundation and integral part of western popular and classical music is growing. Not only was humankind “born” on the African continent, we can now also trace musical rhythms, musical spirituality and expression on many other continents back to their African roots.
